Fellowship

Although one may practice the Way of the Manifestus by themselves, it helps to connect with others in order to gain support and evolve it.

Gathering

Practitioners may come together in person, virtually or a combination thereof called a Gather.

Dedicated spaces are termed Sanctums and practitioners are called Manifestors.

Those that assist in leading a Gather are called Guides.

At a Gather, people may discuss the Manifestus Way or various charitable efforts, guide each other, contemplate and commune with the Manifestus, conduct Workings or ceremonies that mark key life events.

Signs and Symbols

The symbol of the Manifestus is a diamond with a dot in the center. This depicts the structure of the Manifestus, its point of transformation, possibility and the balance required to enact it.

The Manifestus gesture is a diamond made with fingers and thumbs over the heart.

It may also be performed one handed by pinching the thumb, index and middle fingers together in front of the heart.

Avoidance of cult like behavior

Although we gather to support each other in the Way, we must be wary not engage in cultish behavior and attitudes.

  • Do not venerate certain people and give them absolute authority.

  • Seek to do what is best for all and not just the leaders.

  • Allow questioning of doctrine and criticism. That said, one should seek to be constructive or simply leave if it's not a good fit.

  • Do not discourage ties with those outside the group such as family and friends.

  • No isolation or shunning as tools to enforce group ideology. However, people should have a choice not to interact with others if they so choose.

  • Be wary of exploitation and abuse. Call it out but also do not accuse without cause or proof.

  • People may leave the group without being vilified.
